Proven Experience in Instructional Systems Design
For more than a decade, DiSTI has evolved its ISD expertise and capabilities to support our clients.
Since 2011, DiSTI has delivered training solutions for the U.S. Navy’s Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) program through a series of sole-source contracts, developing new and updated operator and maintainer courses.
Using proven ISD processes, DiSTI designed a training solution to include IMI that supports training for bridge crew roles — including the Craftmaster, Engineer, and Navigator — as well as the Loadmaster, Deck Engineer, and maintenance teams.

U.S. Navy Ship-To-Shore Connector (SSC) Training
DiSTI was awarded a 2025 U.S. Navy contract to conduct all ISD efforts for more than 1,200 hours of operator training for the new SSC hovercraft.
The comprehensive program includes:
- FEA
- ILT
- Levels 1–3 IMI
- Hardware-Based Part Task Trainers
- Full Motion Simulators
- Live Craft Instruction
This training solution blends traditional instruction with immersive digital tools to enhance comprehension, retention, and readiness.
Regent Seaglider Wing-in-Ground Effect Vessel
DiSTI was selected to develop 290 hours of operator training curriculum for the Regent
Seaglider, a next-generation maritime vessel.
Scope of work includes:
- Performing Front-End and Media Analysis
- Developing course syllabi and training allocation across ILT, Procedural Cockpit Trainers (PCT), and simulators
- Creating Captain and Watch Officer curriculum
- Obtaining US Coast Guard certification
- Conducting maintenance training analysis
- Live CrIntegrating a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) LMSaft Instruction
- Delivering T3 sessions and course pilots
This program also includes options for a Virtual Maintenance Trainer (Level 4 IMI) and
maintenance curriculum development, extending the system’s full training lifecycle.

U.S. Navy Complex Media & Computer-Based Training (CBT) IDIQ
DiSTI was awarded a five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to support the Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE) with complex media and CBT solutions.
The contract covers the life-cycle development, production, and modernization of advanced training systems for Navy pilots, aircrew, and aviation maintenance personnel—enhancing readiness across the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, and Department of Defense (DoD).
Under this award, DiSTI designs and delivers:
