Summary of Experience
Rodney Long is a Science and Technology Manager at the U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command - Simulation and Training Technology Center (STTC) in Orlando, Florida. Mr. Long began his research in using games for military training in 1998, with the development of Spearhead II and Battle Command 2010. He is currently investigating the use of Virtual Worlds for training asymmetric warfare and Coalition Warfare operations. Mr. Long has a breadth of simulation and training experience that spans more than 20 years in the Department of Defense. Mr. Long has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of South Carolina and Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
