K. Denise Threlfall, Ph.D.
Denise has over 21 years experience in adult education and training with an emphasis on curriculum development. Denise is currently providing internal analysis/training and proposal development support for L-3/D. P. Associates Inc. She has been in government contracting for over six years with various roles relevant to designing and developing distributed learning and educational products. Prior to that, she was on the faculty of Old Dominion University for eight years. While serving as faculty at ODU, she updated curricula by integrating technology into existing courses to enhance student learning. She also authored or co-authored fourteen manuscripts for publication in national and international journals.
Denise completed a Master of Science in Adult Education from Old Dominion University, and subsequently completed her Doctor of Philosophy in Urban Services Education from ODU as well. She has served on the Education Subcommittee for I/ITSEC for the past five years and was its Chair for 2008. She also served as the Education and Training Track Chair for MODSIM World 2008. She currently serves on the advisory boards for ECPI College of Technology’s Modeling & Simulation program and Full Sail University’s Master’s Degree in Education Media Design & Technology.
