Brian Williams – Private Sector; Senior Executive/Intrapreneur, Strategic Adventurer. +25 years as a Senior Executive providing innovative solutions to technology, information, new media and communication industries. Brian is an open-ocean sailor that after spending 3.5 years exploring the world returned to the US and joined the Institute of Defense Analyses (IDA) in an effort to help contribute to our homeland security and defense by applying his entrepreneurial acumen to the government problem space. Experience in corporate strategy, organizational development and transformation; technology/product/business development and communications. Currently working in IDA’s Joint Advanced Warfighting Center (JAWP) with a focus of exploiting collaborative technologies and commercial based gaming solutions for DoD areas of interest; including the examination of adaptive learning, emergent behavior, cultural awareness, transformational warfighting concepts, rapid concept prototyping, etc. Graduate degree in Human Communication Research
