  • Lead Software Engineer

    The ideal candidate will have four (4) or more years experience developing Open GL or Direct 3D applications and excellent C++ development skills. The candidate will be directly involved with the development of a real time 3D graphics product currently used by major aerospace contractors. The candidate must also exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as an entrepreneurial spirit to share the success of an up-and-coming simulation company. Candidate must be a US citizen. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is required. Excellent salary, benefits program.

    • Responsibilities:
      • Lead development teams of 1 or 2 people to complete project on time
      • Designing and developing core functionality of our real time Open GL engine
      • Contributing innovating and original ideas
      • Creating interfaces between our engine and other toolkits
      • Testing, debugging and optimization of our engine
      • Providing Mentorship to junior programmers
      • Performing review and QA of code
    • Requirements:
      • 4-6 years with advanced C++/OOD design and implementation
      • Demonstrated knowledge of 3D graphics with OpenGL or Direct 3D
      • Experience developing software in a SEI software development environment
      • Demonstrated knowledge of good software engineering practices
      • Excellent analytical skills

  • Software Engineer

  • Sales / Software Support Engineer

    The DiSTI Corporation is a leading provider of human machine interface technology. We are looking for a software support engineer who will help support our customer base, both directly and indirectly.

    • Experience and Education:
      Four year degree in engineering or science or equivalent experience. One year or more of demonstrated results.
    • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
      • Assists customers during technical evaluations of our software
      • Develops customer specific technology demonstrations
      • Works with our sales force to address customer technical questions
      • Solves customers’ technical issues relating to our products
      • Experience writing C++ and/or Java applications
      • Experience troubleshooting C++ and/or Java software development problems on Windows or Linux
      • Answers questions and provides information about the features and capabilities of our software products
      • Develops and reviews product documentation

  • Sales Executive

    Responsible for management and performance of all pre-sales, sales, and post-sales activities required for distribution of DiSTI’s commercial off the shelf software products. Serve in a direct sales capacity for products and support renewal contracts sold within the United States. Serve in a supporting capacity to facilitate support renewal contracts sold through global distributor network. Ensure that DiSTI’s reputation as a respected, attentive, and value-added contributor to the customer’s success is at the forefront of all activities.

    • Responsibilities:
      • Implement the established direct sales process for contacting, quoting, and closing annual software support & maintenance renewal contracts for customers within the United States.
      • Provide supporting capacity for contacting, quoting, and closing annual software support & maintenance renewal contracts for customers within our international distributor network.
      • Provide supporting assistance to the Directors of Sales and Director of International Business to ensure continuity of the corporate wide sales objectives.
      • Work as part of the sales team to meet targets set by DiSTI’s partners.
      • Ensure quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical specifications and other features of DiSTI’s product offerings.
      • Research and contact customers requesting information, demonstrations, and/or evaluations of software products.
      • Determine customers’ critical decision makers, funding method and timeline.
      • Understand customers' diverse specific business needs and apply product knowledge to establish requirements that address those needs.
      • Effectively present and demonstrate DiSTI’s product offerings which address established requirements.
      • Actively track software evaluations and ensure positive progress against established requirements.
      • Finalize and successfully close opportunities generated to provide software products which address established needs.
      • Attend targeted industry events (tradeshows, conferences, exhibits, socials, etc.) identified by DiSTI as a means to generate new or continued business opportunities.
      • Actively utilize DiSTI’s industry standard CRM software to enter, track, and close opportunities and sales activities.
      • Identify and develop new business through networking, and courtesy and follow-up calls.
      • Outbound networking in order to create interest in products and services and generate new business leads and arrange meetings.
      • All other job duties as assigned.
    • Requirements:
      • Exceptional communication skills including written, verbal, and public speaking.
      • Open and approachable personality
      • Ability to adapt terminology and message delivery to address a technically diverse customer base.
      • Everyday working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
      • Use of ACT! or equivalent CRM system.
      • Technical understanding of an object oriented software development process and terminology is desirable.
